John Piper on leave…

I was first introduced to John piper about 5 years ago. From then on I have continually been blown away by his ministry and the man himself. His influence, through books, talks and sermons, have had a profound impact on the way I view God, life and ministry. Today, after reading his letter to his church (and to the rest of the world), I have even more respect for him and his church. The man is seemingly so humble and honest about his struggles through life and is a brilliant example to the church today. Not only to the church but also to any young minister who is trying to find his feet. So, although it will be disappointing not to hear from the man in the next eight months I am sure that the prayers of the faithful will help make his marriage stronger and his ministry even more powerful.
