Hi Rob,

Thanks for your interest and encouragement. Currently i'm not sure where to go in terms of specific verses but i know that Paul speaks of working for the glory of God. And while this can sometimes be used for a whole range of things it seems to sum up the basic premise, that what could be considered productive is only things which are bringing glory to God. Further study in that area would no doubt be useful.

In terms of getting things done, scripture doesn't tell us how to go about it but gives a good framework to decide wat's important and what's not.

Cheers,
Jon.

Hey,

Good post. Certainly the bible is always useful, and every single scripture is useful, but the problem is that not every scripture is useful to what you are going through right at the moment.

I found this post because today (and at this time in my life) I am trying to learn more about productivity and discipline and getting things done, so I googled Productivity in the bible. If you had any scripture suggestions on this topic, I would love to hear them.
