I’m Jon. Thanks for stopping by.
Among other things, I love writing. This has resulted in the blog you’re currently reading where I seek to serve the church through writing about life and faith.
For over 15 years I’ve had the privilege of being involved in some form of ministry. This has been through churches, schools, mission agencies, and not-for-profit organisations.
As of April 2022 I stepped into the role of Lead Pastor at Mooroolbark Baptist Church and live in Melbourne, Australia with my wife and kids. I graduated from the Melbourne School of Theology with an MDiv in 2012, having previous worked in the health and fitness industry.
Again, thanks for being here. I hope the various posts you read serve you as much as they serve me.
If you’d like to follow along via email that’d be great, but no pressure.

Looking forward to following your Jeff Goins 31 day challenge. Message me if I can be of any encouragement along the way.
Thanks Tim. Good to have you here.
Jon- I got a bit nervous when I looked at Google and saw the title of my EMQ article under one by you about being tired of reading Millennial assessments but then was glad to see your positive comments. Blessings, JimR
Jim, great to hear from you. I enjoyed reading your article and have mentioned a few times here. Currently working through your book actually. Much to discuss!! Thanks for coming by.
